2013Aug10 – Matheran Trip

Had a great trip to Matheran with Milan & family. Milan’s friend and his family also joined in so we booked a cab for the trip. Earlier, we had planned to take one of our cars but good we cancelled it as the road to Matheran is absolutely not good for self-driving, more bad during rains.

We reached their at around 12:30PM. Weather was awesome. We stopped on the Mumbai-Pune expressway though for a quick breakfast.

We immediately took the toy train from Aman Lodge scheduled for 1PM to Matheran. It was raining heavily. Aanya and Rishika thoroughly enjoyed the toy train ride.

We did not spend much of our time there as it continued raining heavily. Had a tremendous heavy lunch and headed back to Pune 🙂
