I can’t forget her devotions and emotions for me. I can’t forget her sacrifices for me. I can’t forget tears in her eyes because of me and I can’t forget smile on her face because of me. One of the first dearest ladies in my life.

Initially we plan to give a gift to Gaurav but we later thought instead of giving a gift only, let’s give him a farewell lunch and a gift too. I think it was a good idea

It was pleasant to work with Gaurav, he is really a gem of a person who never says “NO” to anything you ask him for. He is not only technically strong but personally also he is too good. Team here would definitely miss him.

Nilesh, Rahul, Mahesh, Vrushal and myself joined from Pune while Sagar joined from Mumbai, basically Bangalore. He specially flew to Mumbai to meet us.

We first went to an MTDC resort but couldn’t find it a good place for us. We then approached Lonavala for a row house villa, where Vrushal had stayed earlier too. We finally rented it after a lot of “matha pachchi” with its owner “Shah”.

Hired a cook too to make dinner for us. Specifically non-veg. I got my veg parceled from a hotel which I never ate

We sat, had good amount of BP, watched Delhi-Pune IPL match and then slept after midnight. In the morning, had breakfast and everyone moved for their houses. Party was over, short and memorable.

Met Sagar for the first time and had a good time. Heard of him a lot from all other guys and Rohit too.

We went to Barbeque after a very long time ever since they increased their prices. It was same and awesome as ever. Barbecue starters and desserts are its USP and will always remain.

We had a terrific time eating so so much at our own Barbeque Nation.

Gaurav is leaving SunGard soon. 1st May is his last, probably. It was nice having Gaurav in the team. His contribution has been superb. Wish him luck wherever he goes and whatever he does.

We decided to have our 2012 Q1 team lunch @ Ccasanova Kalyani Nagar. There were lots of words on having lunch or dinner but finally penned upon lunch from the majority.

We had booked it for Rs 650/head including some delicious pre-selected menu options. I loved eveything specially coconut mousse in the end . People who had hard drinks had to bear the cost themselves.

Ccasanova is a nice place. Only part I wondered, Air-coolers were kept ON instead of ACs.

We went to The Great Punjab on Nagar Road, near Wagholi. Had biryani and couple of shots. It was feel good in the sunny  afternoon.

I visited Delhi for Holi, updated Facebook status, Umang read it, called me up and planned a get together. Asked couple of more people but only 3 looked interested and we met at Dilli Haat.

A good time indeed remembering old golden days.

This was unlike to our one night stay Dapoli trip but very much similar to Mulshi dam trip. We started early in the morning, met more guys at a hotel on Satara road after toll plaza. We started from there only. Had heavy breakfast then left for Mahabaleshwar. Found a suitable place at Panchgani and sat there for couple of hours. Thoroughly enjoyed the time. Then to Mahabaleshwar.

I had a back on the way to Mahabaleshwar that completely spoiled the mood but nevertheless, enjoyed Special Strawberry shake and Bhel on the way back. Everyone bought strawberries too @ Rs100/kg (rates for future reference)

Nilesh managed it really well. Thanks Nilesh. Vishant’s new car drive was amazing. Good to remember part is we did not pay toll tax at all. Magical Nilesh did the trick

Hope we have many more trips.

It was an awesome meal. I never knew KFC offers that much.

Again, myself, Swapnil, Nilesh and Pankaj enjoyed it in the parking space and then joined the team on the KFC venture.

Awesome time.

It is an awesome place. We got the open roof top last time but an internal disc this time. Thoroughly enjoyed the night. Danced to max. Started at 7:30 and almost ended by 10:30, we really wined, danced and dined a lot. I, personally, moved my legs this much after a very very long time.

2011 ended with a grand team party. Hope to have many such more in 2012.

Reached there a bit late but managed to do all activities. Ride on Ghoda gaadi and Columbus was the best. Toy train ride was equally enjoyable.

It was a bit crowded than the last time, coz of weekend I guess, but that too could not stop us enjoy the evening to max. Enthu also looked missing in the people who were serving food, coz of crowd again I guess.

Swapnil, Nilesh, Aditya, Pankaj, Rahul, Varun and myself graced the evening with our families . Nilesh’s daughter Aarushi and Aanya played with everyone and made their baby’s day out.

After 10% corporate discount it costed Rs 405 per head, a bit more than the last time.

A good day indeed.

So we ordered veg, non-veg pizzas and it was damn fun eating it together. Aditya did a good job this time ordering various varieties and enough for the team.

There was a fancy dress competition for children for which I got Aanya dressed up in Rajasthani outfits but for some reason we could not reach there on time and hence she missed her chance. No worries as she really enjoyed with everyone. She found a new friend for herself, Aarushi, Nilesh’s daughter. They both were so funny.

Good time. Swapnil and his family is also so cute.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. Swapnil, Nilesh, Patel and myself had couple of shots in the basement and then Gujrati thali after that was like “Sone pe Suhaga“

Amazing lunch with amazing people. Congrats Rahul for the new bullet. Keep driving but safe and vigil.

It was my colleague Sandeep’s marriage. We reached to the marriage somewhat late but enjoyed our time out there. Almost everyone from our team gathered there and enjoyed to max. We danced, ate, drank and did full masti.

One funny thing happened, I unknowingly ate colorful raw rice which were to be thrown over bride and groom (By throwing rice at the bride and groom at a wedding, guests symbolically wish them a lifetime full of these blessings.)

It was fun over all. My heartiest wishes to Sandeep and his newly wed.

What a lunch we had. Most of us went to Indijoe for the first time and had an awesome experience. Buffet was not only great but good enough to make us say “This is it”. Definitely at par with Barbeque Nation or must say even better.

Our favorite place is no longer Barbeque Nation. They increased their price, almost double. Not fair. Thanks Rajesh and Rahul, although Rahul could not join us due to an emergency in his house.

Update: Came to know afterwards that it was Rajesh’s treat only and Rahul would treat us sometime later.

It was a much needed break after a long time. We ate, drank and ate and drank on the pool side roof of the building. We danced for sometime, discussed project updates and cracked jokes too.

We initially decided to go to 365 invitation at Viman Nagar but then later went to Punjabi Spice at Nagar Road, Pune

We drank couple shots and than ate biryanis and it was awesome. Although, it was early for the restaurant but they did a good service to serve us.

We all had an awesome time.

Working does not mean only working, some fun too with lunch or dinner. We called up some Indiana restra in kharadi for Chinese stuff and it was damn tasty and economical too. Really enjoyed it.
