My last team party in IRIS before moving to the CTT team.

It has been wonderful years working with some of the most memorable friends, colleagues and leaders. I am never going to forget IRIS ever. It was my first project that I started my carrier with.

Miss you IRIS.

We celebrated the remaining team budget at The Chowk, MGF mall, Gurgaon for team dinner. Enjoyed it to max.

2007Aug17 – IRIS Dinner @ 32nd Milestone

Took Alan out on dinner at 32nd Milestone. He was leaving for London the following day.

It was always fun working with him. Still remember the London days when we invited him for dinner and he brought a bottle of wine and only he and me finished it off and rest were just seeing us

2007Aug14 – Independence Day @ Xchanging

Alan Chisham was in India and we gifted him a Kurta Paijyama which he wore right then and then we went on the roof for kite flying and chaat pakodi. He really enjoyed it.

We celebrated everything as a cohesive unit even when most have parted. The best team ever.

2007Apr13 – IRIS Outing @ 32nd Milestone

Around a month ago before the whole time was shattered. Last dinner with the whole bunch of wankies. All were really adorable and memorable.

Gagan shifted to CTT team. Munish left Xchanging. Ashima moved out with her husband and many more. Never enjoyed much in Xchanging after this one.

2007Mar09 – IRIS Party @ MGF Mall

First time we saw a movie with the team. As far as I remember it was Pursuit of Happiness. Please correct me if I am wrong. Nice movie it was but dinner after it was great too.

Spending time with the whole team was always enjoyable. I would never be forgetting these days.

Always loved birthdays, cake cutting ceremonies in the team. It was definitely not a part of team building excercise but love for each other and for team.

Another team outing, this time at Amoeba & Suburbia, MGF Mall. I have played bowling only with IRIS team in my life so far. It was always fun to be part of an enthusiastic team and doing regular team building outings.

2006Aug24 – IRIS Outing @ 32nd Milestone

32d Milestone had become a favorite place for us after our first outing here this day. We did everything it is famous for. Bull riding, Bowling, Go-carting and of course dining.

Really enjoyable place. Can visit with the family too. A light music is also played in the evening.

Wow, what a superb dinner we had at Chor Bizarre, MGF Mall, Gurgaon. Place with the peace but we felt the light was a bit dim. Otherwise the ambiance was mind blowing.

The way the buffet was arranged was amazing. I learnt the word buffet on this day. Looks crazy

Christine was in India that time. I wonder if she only paid the bill

2006May06 – Umang’s Marriage

One marriage where I saw maximum number of Xchangineers. Almost everyone in the project and outside it too. Martin Hanak was also present and he was amazed to see us dressed in ethnic.

Really a good day. Enjoyed to max.

2006May05 – IRIS Lunch @ Pind Baluchi

Team went out after a very long time. We all went to Pind Baluchi in Gurgaon and it was a damn cool place. This was the time when IRIS was biggest ever in Xchanging,India.

It was the time when there were so many developers fighting with so many testers on minor issues. Testers failing issues just for the sake, no offense. Lots of training and new development work. Support and development team segregated.

Landlord of the premises where Xchanging is, is a very rich person and we always used to see a new expensive car every now and then.

Vikram Kulkarni is the nicest man I met in the beginning of my career. He was an helping hand to me and many new joinees in IRIS product. He does not have the attitude that people develop after gaining knowledge. It was his last day and was missed thereafter.

Trend continues. This time my birthday was celebrated in the office then the whole team went out on a dinner at Haldiram, Gurgaon with their families.

I did not join them as it was my parents 25th anniversary too so had to be with them.

First team outing that I ever went on in India. Really enjoyable. I had almost developed habit of clicking everything by then.
