When Star Bazaar announced ‘Quick Queue – The Green Line Revolution’, last year, they never imagined they might not be able to keep it going for a long time.
Quick Queue as they say is an exceptional customer service initiative to help customers have a great shopping experience. Shoppers at Star Bazaar do not need to be in long and endless billing queues. A Green line is drawn at a distance of 6.5 ft from the counters at the stores and if there are customers beyond the line, a new billing counter is opened till all the operational billing counters are opened.
Personally, when I visit Star Bazaar at Phoenix Market City, Pune, I never see this being followed.
There are around 24 counters but have never seen more than 15 opened at the same time even when the people in all 15 queues are beyond the green line. When you contact their so called Quick Queue expert, they say they have opened all possible counters and have no more billing guys to open any more counters.
Always long queues, lousy people at the billing counter and credit card machine not responding on time.
Hope to see this improved soon as it is damn frustrating to spend more time in the queue than actually for shopping.
